The WeTest English Proficient C1 Test is an advanced language skills test developed by an expert team to evaluate the candidate’s ability to communicate fluently, accurately, and strategically in complex professional situations.

This online pre-employment test evaluates the candidates' knowledge of the English language at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

At the C1 level, the candidate should be able to understand complex texts, have a range of vocabulary in various subjects, understand subtle meanings, and communicate well-structured messages in various professional situations.

Our test is intended to screen candidates and assure employers that they will only hire people who can communicate easily in English, understand complex situations, and solve complex problems by effectively communicating with clients, colleagues, or stakeholders.

The candidates are required to respond to complex reading comprehension exercises, advanced grammar exercises, subtle vocabulary tasks, and interpretation-based questions typical of professional communication.

The test takers will be required to answer 4 practice questions before the actual test, and they have 10 minutes to complete the entire test, which comprises 20 multiple-choice questions, some of which include audio files to test their listening skills.
